Canadian Union of Skilled Workers - Montréal, QC$38$50 an hour The Canadian Union of Skilled Workers (CUSW) is a progressive, member-driven union representing highly skilled tradespeople across Canada. We are currently recruiting 3rd - 5th Term Electrical Apprentices for multiple commercial construction projects throughout Quebec.CUSW ensures that all regulatory documentation is completed, allowing members to work in Quebec legally and efficiently (if not living in Quebec). We are committed to creating seamless transitions and supportive job site environments for our workforce.Qualifications &amp; Experience:<ul><li>Must be a 3rd-5th Electrical Apprentice</li><li>Proven experience in commercial electrical installations.</li><li>Proficiency in conduit work, cable tray systems, and distribution systems.</li><li>Skilled with both power tools and hand tools used in the trade.</li><li>Competent in blueprint and schematic interpretation.</li><li>Candidates must be proficient in English (French speaking or bilingual is an asset) to qualify for these projects.</li></ul>Compensation &amp; Benefits:<ul><li>Total Wage Package: Rate Dependent on Term (Total Wage Package for Electrician is $62.54/hour)</li><li>Base Rate: Base Rate Dependent on Term (Base Rate for Electrician is $48.37/hour (based on 40-hour workweek)</li><li>Vacation Pay: 13%</li><li>Pension and Benefits Contributions included</li><li>Travel and Board provided as applicable</li><li>Possible overtime on projects</li><li>Work conditions and compensation packages are among the most competitive in the Canadian construction industry</li></ul>Additional Benefits:<ul><li>CUSW handles all necessary administrative paperwork for members to work legally in Quebec.</li><li>Supportive, organized job sites backed by a transparent, member-focused union.</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: $38.00-$50.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>Dental care</li><li>Employee assistance program</li><li>Extended health care</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Vision care</li></ul>Schedule:<ul><li>Day shift</li><li>Monday to Friday</li><li>Overtime</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>Electrical : 3 years (required)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
